Rule 67

(1) The Divisional Forest Officer shall annually update the details of the forest area that can be made available as recognized forests as per sub-section (1) of section 26 of the Act under the strategic plan as per rule 14 and send to the department and state ministries.
(2) The following forest areas shall be included in the description as per sub-rule (1):-
(a) _ bushy butyan,
(b)_ having canopy density less than twenty percent,
(c) the encroached area or the area withdrawn after the encroachment has been removed or the encroachment may be,
(d) damaged due to natural calamities and restored or regenerated,
(e) sensitive and should be protected in terms of land conservation, (f) suitable for spiritual or cultural activities without any change in the natural structure,
(g) The strategic plan as per sub-rule (3) of rule 14, designated as such that the forest can be managed.
(3) Based on the details received according to sub-rule (1), if the department finds that it is appropriate to provide such part of the national forest as a recognition forest after conducting on-site monitoring as necessary, it will open the necessary details for different forest areas (every year in the first week of August and January). times) by publishing a thirty day notice in a national level daily newspaper and calling for a sealing proposal. The information related to the call for proposals should also be placed on the website of the department, provincial ministry, directorate and division forest office.
(4) Participating in the proposal called according to sub-rule (3): The interested organization should prepare a technical proposal and a financial and commercial proposal including the topics mentioned in schedule-36 and submit it to the department.
