(1) If the trees or other trees in the public land are to be removed for the purpose of development project under section 37 of the Act and on the basis of the decision made by the body managing the tree or land and the recommendation of the committee under sub-rule (1) of rule 36, Divisional Forest: the officer shall Can give permission to remove the project management office.
(2) The forest produce obtained as per sub-rule (1) shall be auctioned by the Divisional Forest Officer as per rule 25. But in case such public land is managed by the user group, such forest produce should be transferred to the user group.
