(1) The divisional forest officer shall determine the area of ​​partnership forest management based on the following topics in consultation with the local level and with the participation of the partnership forest user groups:-
(a) Rule 814. Areas identified that can be managed as partnership-forests according to the strategic plan,
(b) such forest area as may be suitable for the purposes referred to in sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Act.
(2) In order to achieve the purpose of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the Act, the Divisional Forest Officer shall, in consultation with the local level and with the participation of the Partnership Forest User Group, prepare an action plan for Partnership Forestry that includes the contents mentioned in Schedule-34.
(3) The action plan prepared according to sub-rule (2) shall be passed by the partnership forest user group and submitted to the provincial forest director for approval by the divisional forest officer with his opinion on the recommendation of the partnership forest management committee.
(4) The action plan received as per sub-rule (3) shall be submitted to the technical committee as per sub-rule (2) of rule 39 for technical examination by the Provincial Forest Director.
(5) Upon receipt of the action plan according to sub-rule (4), the technical committee shall carry out on-site inspection and technical examination of the action plan as required and submit it to the State Forest Director for approval with recommendations, and the State Forest Director shall approve the action plan with the approval of the State Ministry.
(6) If there is any amendment to be made in the action plan approved as per sub-rule (5), the Provincial Forest Director may make the amendment on the recommendation of the Partnership Forest Management Committee and the Division Forest Office. However, if the Provincial Forest Director deems it necessary, he may send it to the technical committee as per sub-rule (2) of Rule 39 for technical examination before making any amendments.
(7) The duration of action plan of partnership forest shall be ten years at most. Before the expiration of the period of the action plan, a new action plan shall be prepared and approved in accordance with this rule, and the new action plan shall be implemented from the day the period of the old action plan expires.
