(1) The Divisional Forest Officer shall provide wood and firewood in one lump sum or in different lots to the District Forest Produce Supply Committee based on the local demand, taking the price and collection expenses as per Schedule-6.
(2) According to the approved action plan, the provincial ministry should make arrangements to provide wood and firewood from any other district where wood and firewood are available within the respective province.
(3) According to sub-rule (2), if wood and firewood are not available even from the district within the respective province, upon the request of the provincial ministry, the ministry may arrange for the supply of wood and firewood from the district of another province.
(4) Sal wood allocated for internal consumption by Community Forest User Group or Partnership Forest User Group for sale and distribution outside the group: and at least twenty-five percent of the firewood and wood of other species except sal, in the case of firewood, available to the District Forest Production Supply Committee based on the demand. will have to do. In this way, when providing wood and firewood to the district forest produce supply committee, the price and collection expenses as per schedule-6 will have to be charged. However, in the districts where the forest area is small and access to the forest is low and the population density is high: At least fifty percent of wood, firewood should be provided to the District Forest Production Supply Committee as per schedule-13.
(5) According to sub-rule (4), if the wood and firewood made available to the District Forest Production Supply Committee by the consumer group are not collected within one year, the consumer group may auction such wood and firewood.
(6) The District Forest Produce Supply Committee may provide the firewood it receives within the concerned province with the consent of the provincial ministry and throughout Nepal with the consent of the department for cremation purposes.
