Rule 36
Management of trees at risk
(1) In the government offices, committees, institutes, other office premises that do not have proof of ownership of the land other than the forest area, or on the road outside the forest area, the tree that is in a dangerous condition, on the road, water source, religious place, public place or other place, if the tree is not removed immediately, there will be loss of people's wealth from that tree. If found, the Divisional Forest Officer may grant permission to remove such trees based on the decision of the following committee:-
(a) Divisional Forest Officer - Coordinator (b) Official representative of the district administration office "Member (c) Official representative of the Malport office in the district (d) Official representative of the surveyor's office in the district Member (e) Official representative of the relevant police office" (f) Ward member of the relevant ward of the local level br> (2) According to sub-rule (1), the forest produce to be obtained shall be auctioned by the Divisional Forest Officer after issuing a public notice.
(3) Sub-rule (2): If wood, firewood is to be transported from the forest products sold as per the following, the stamp and seal/log of the Division Forest Office should be transported.
(4) If due to any natural cause a tree has fallen or washed away and obstructs any public road, public road, power line, water supply, drainage, canal or river etc. The trees should be collected as soon as possible and should be disposed of in a safe place.
(5) If it is necessary to cut the branch of a tree that is at risk from the point of view of air safety or remove the tree itself, the Divisional Forest Officer may grant permission to cut the branch or remove the tree based on the decision of the committee as per sub-rule (1).
