Rule 40
Special Action Plan of Forest Conservation Area
(1) The department shall prepare and submit to the Ministry a special action plan for the forest protection area as per Section 15 or 17 of the Act.
(2) Subjects as per schedule-18 shall be included in the special action plan as per sub-rule (1).
(3) After receiving the action plan as per sub-rule- (2), the Ministry shall approve such action plan by making necessary modifications.
(4) After the approval of the action plan of the forest protection area according to section 15 of the Act, the Ministry shall publish the details of such forest protection area including the boundaries and area in the Nepal Gazette.
(5) The duration of the action plan of the forest protection area shall be at least ten years and may be amended as per the need.
