Rule 8
Can establish vegetation
(1) Ministry of plant related studies. In order to carry out research, a notice may be published in the Nepal Gazette and any part of the national forest may be designated as a vegetation enhancement zone under the land use plan according to Rule 7.
(2) Protection and management of the botanical garden as per sub-rule (1) shall be done by the Department of Botany or the office under that department.
(3) Botanical gardens protected and managed by the Department of Botany or offices under it before the commencement of this rule shall be deemed to be managed in accordance with this rule.
(4) During the establishment, protection and management of the vegetation, if the trees in that area need to be removed, they can be removed with the consent of the Division Forest Office and the forest produce produced in such area will be managed by the Division Forest Office.
(5) Entrance and other fees of botanical garden as mentioned in schedule-2: shall be.
