Rule 19
Tree should be printed and evaluated
(1) Before collecting wood and firewood according to the approved action plan, the Divisional Forest Officer shall at least carry out a survey and assessment of the trees to be felled by a Forest Technical Officer of the first class or equivalent under the Gazette.
(2) The method of measurement, volume extraction and evaluation of trees and timber shall be as per Schedule-9.
(3) In order to keep the forest produce collected in accordance with this rule in a safe place, the Divisional Forest Officer shall designate a Ghatgaddi area in Charqilla Khulai and place such forest produce in a safe place.
(4) While transporting the wood from the forest area to the Ghatgaddi, Sthal, each wood must be affixed with a stamp on both sides of the wood in the division forest office and transported only with a bill of lading in the format as per Schedule-10.
(5) The wood and firewood collected in accordance with this rule shall be piled and piled so that the lots are separated at the Ghatgadwadi site by the concerned Divisional Forest Officer.
