Rule 126
Arrangements for raising forest seeds
(1) According to section 75 of the Act, the Ministry for Forest Development may declare any part of the National Forest as a forest seed reserve to produce quality forest seeds.
(2) Conservation and management of the forest seed garden as per sub-rule (1) shall be done by the Division Forest Office in coordination with the Department.
(3) Modern technology and traditional knowledge of local residents can be used for the collection and study of forest seeds.
