The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) Determine the annual budget for the program conducted by the state government or the local level and request proposals for the program,
(b) Determining the ceiling of the annual budget for plans and programs operated by the fund,
(c) To approve and implement programs and budgets,
(d) Approving multi-year plans and programs and ensuring resources for the same,
(e) Formulating long-term policies and strategies and submitting them to the Ministry,
(f) Coordinating and collaborating with the federation, state, local level and related stakeholders,
(G)/ Encouraging forest user groups, local communities and associations for sustainable management of forests,
(h) Encouraging individuals, organizations and the private sector to promote greening,
(i) Regular monitoring and evaluation of plans and programs conducted using funds, (h) Regarding conducting programs using funds. Determining the necessary procedures,
(k) To do or cause other necessary work to be done to achieve the purpose of the fund.
