Rule 71
Conservation of Kabuliyati Forest
(1) In accordance with Rule 69, the forest of recognition: At the time of making available, the ownership of the trees in it shall be owned by the Government of Nepal. The organized organization that takes the confessional forest must make proper arrangements for the protection of the confessional forest including such trees and plants. (2) At the time of making available the forest, after surveying and evaluating the trees and plants in it, a bond of up to twenty percent of the amount must be taken from the organization that takes the forest.
(3) If the organized organization taking the Kabuliyati forest requests any assistance for the protection of the Kabuliyati forest, the Division Forest Office can provide the necessary support and recommend to other agencies for assistance.
(4) In case of falling of the trees in the forest during the provision of the forest, the organized organization shall inform the Divisional Forest Office. If information is received that trees have fallen, the Division Forest Office shall collect such trees in accordance with this regulation.
(5) During the provision of the confessional forest, the trees in the confessional forest may be removed by the division forest office under the direction of the department if they are to be removed during the implementation of the approved action plan of the confessional forest or for any other reason.
