(1) According to this regulation, when transporting wood and firewood outside the district, the vehicle shall be transported with a seal made available by the department to the division forest office.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the transported wood/firewood should be unloaded after informing the Division Forest Office or Sub Division Forest Office of the final destination of the transport.
(3) In the event that the means of transportation which has been sealed as per sub-rule (1) is broken or the seal is broken due to an accident or any other similar reason, the wood, firewood contained in that means shall be reloaded in the same means or in another means and transported to the area where the incident occurred. The Sub Division Forest Office shall re-seal and transport with the consent of the Division Forest Office.
(4) According to sub-rule (1), if there is a need to check or investigate the transported wood, firewood for any reason, after reaching the final destination of the transportation, the check or investigation should be done in the name of at least a gazetted first class or similar forest technician-employee of the Division Forest Office.
