(1) The Divisional Forest Officer shall allow the Nepal Forest Corporation Limited to collect wood and firewood by plotting any part of the forest managed by the government for the purpose of supplying firewood to urban areas.
(2) In accordance with this regulation, the divisional forest officer may provide up to twenty-five percent of the wood and firewood received by the divisional forest office from the national forest to the Nepal Forest Corporation Limited for the purpose of supplying wood and firewood in urban areas.
(3) According to sub-rules (1) and (2), the Divisional Forest Officer shall provide wood and firewood to Nepal Forest Corporation Limited at the price mentioned in Schedule-6. (4) Among the wood and firewood sold outside the group for commercial purposes by the consumer group, the price of the wood, firewood and firewood to be provided to the district forest produce and supply committee according to sub-rule (4) of Rule 22, the price as per schedule-6 shall be considered as the minimum price. It can provide Nepal Forest Corporation Limited on the basis of mutual agreement by taking the amount that will be collected including the cost of collecting the amount.
(5) According to this rule, the wood received by Nepal Forest Corporation Limited shall be sold only after chopping or processing.
