Rule 123
(1) The functions, duties and powers of the District Forestry Coordinating Committee under Rule 122 shall be as follows
-
(a) To facilitate the protection, management and development of forests, wildlife and water bodies within the district,
(b) Facilitate solving problems in the implementation of the district's forest development plan, periodical and annual development plan, the Act and this regulation, and in case of problems in the implementation of the program and project,
(c) coordinating and facilitating the solution of problems arising during forest protection and management, (d) monitoring, evaluating and supervising the implementation of forest development plans and annual development plans, preparing and reviewing reports,
(e) To coordinate with the local level for the sustainable development of the forest area (f) Facilitate or cause to solve problems related to forest users 8 groups,
(g) Facilitate settlement of disputes related to areas and forest boundaries of forest user groups.
(2) According to Rule 122, no decision shall be made by the District Forest Area Coordinating Committee which will adversely affect the existing forest management system and change the land use of the forest area.
